The doctors and staff of the Hebron Animal Hospital are constantly faced with daunting concerns of lost pets and tracking down the owners of found pets.  Unquestionably the easiest and most effective way has proven to be Home Again Microchips!  EVERY time a pet has been found and brought to us we scan the pet with a universal scanner to determine if this pet has a microchip.  If present, we can then contact the manufacturer of the chip and find the purchaser or point of purchase (i.e. SPCA’s, Humane Shelters, etc.) and trace the pet back to its appropriate owner.  This has and always will be the primary benefit of such a technology.
